ABC NEWS TO BROADCAST 2nd PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE (10/7)

Charles Gibson, Diane Sawyer & George Stephanopoulos to Anchor Live Coverage

ABC News will broadcast the second Presidential debate at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7 at 9:00 p.m., ET / 6:00 p.m., PT. ABC News' two-hours of live coverage will include the 90-minute debate and 30 minutes of post-debate analysis.

Charles Gibson, Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopolous will anchor ABC's live coverage. Mr. Gibson will be at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, where he will watch the debate with a group of students; Ms. Sawyer will be at ABC News headquarters in New York and Mr. Stephanopoulos will be at the debate. They will be joined by Ron Claiborne and Jake Tapper reporting on the McCain and Obama campaigns from the debate site in Nashville. John Berman will report from the ABC News Fact Check Desk. ABC News Political Contributors Donna Brazile, Torie Clark and Matthew Dowd will offer post-debate analysis.

ABC News NOW will provide live coverage of the debate anchored by Sam Donaldson in DC and Rick Klein at Belmont University.

ABCNEWS.com will live stream ABC News NOW's coverage of the debate from 8:00-11:00 p.m. Rick Klein will blog during the debate and engage users. There will be reports from the debate hall and spin room throughout the evening. ABCNEWS.com will report from the ABC News Fact Check desk where a team of producers and reporters will be vetting debate remarks. The site will have interactive timelines for Senators McCain (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/fullpage?id=5197490) and Obama (http://abcnews.go.com/politics/fullpage?id=5197404). ABCNews.com will also post the full debate video and a video highlights reel.

ABC News Radio correspondent Aaron Katersky will anchor ABC News Radio coverage from the swing state of Pennsylvania. He'll be with a group of voters in Erie, PA. ABC News Radio correspondent Steven Portnoy will be at the debate site in Nashville. ABC News Political Analyst Steve Roberts will also contribute.

ABC NewsOne, the affiliate news feed service of ABC News, will provide live reports from Belmont University with ABC News correspondent TJ Winick.
