JIM GUILTS THE KIDS INTO DOING HOUSEHOLD CHORES AFTER ONE OF THE TWINS' BLANKIES GOES MISSING, ON THE EIGHTH SEASON PREMIERE OF ABC'S "ACCORDING TO JIM"

Season Premiere is Followed Immediately by Another All-New Episode

Jim Belushi returns for his eighth hilarious season in ABC's hit family comedy, "According to Jim." A family man and a man's man, Jim is the all-American guy, fiercely devoted to his beautiful wife, Cheryl (Courtney Thorne-Smith), and his five kids, Ruby (Taylor Atelian), Gracie (Billi Bruno) Kyle (Conner Rayburn) and twins Jonathan and Gordon. He loves his family but he continues to test his wife's patience with his stubborn antics.

In the season premiere episode, "The Blankie," airing TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2 (9:00-9:30, ET), Cheryl finally snaps from loss of sleep after being up all night with the twins, so Jim has to take care of the children. When he realizes Jonathan's special Christmas snowman blankie has gone missing, he immediately blames the older kids who, out of guilt, comply with Jim's request to complete the household chores. When Jim realizes the blankie was with him the whole time, he and Cheryl enjoy the best of both worlds -- kids doing the chores and sleeping babies � but not for long!

In a second episode, "The New Best Friend" (9:30-10:00 p.m., ET), Dana, Cheryl's sister and best friend, moves away, leading Cheryl to overload Jim with holiday shopping and decorating ideas. Completely bored with her one-sided conversations, Jim realizes he must find Cheryl a replacement best friend ASAP.

"According to Jim" stars Jim Belushi as Jim, Courtney Thorne-Smith as Cheryl, Kimberly Williams-Paisley as Dana, Larry Joe Campbell as Andy, Taylor Atelian as Ruby, Billi Bruno as Gracie and Conner Rayburn as Kyle.

Guest starring in "The New Best Friend" is Mo Collins as Emily.
