�Greg Behrendt�s Wake-Up Call� is part of SOAPnet�s �Sugar-Free Valentines,� a six week programming event beginning on January 8 that is dedicated to the fun and romance surrounding Valentine�s Day without the sweet, gooey center. Behrendt will also host a series of interstitials throughout the event providing his no-nonsense approach to relationships.
"Greg Behrendt's Wake Up Call" is a series of (6) one hour shows featuring the popular author/comedian. Behrendt co-authored two best-sellers including the acclaimed "He's Just Not That Into You" which has now been made into a major motion picture currently scheduled to open in February, 2009. He was also a consultant for three seasons on HBO's "Sex and the City."
Each episode of 'Wake Up Call' showcases a different couple that is experiencing relationship issues. Using his unique insights and humor, Greg works with them both individually and together. At the end of the show viewers find out how/if the couple plans to move forward.
"Greg Behrendt's Wake-Up Call" is produced by Avalon Television. Behrendt will serve as executive-producer of the series, along with Avalon�s David Martin, James Bruce, Julie James, Jon Thoday and Richard Allen-Turner. Garth Holsinger and Jason Irwin, who originated the concept with Behrendt, will serve as producers.
