VANCE GUEST STARS�It's Valentine's Day in the ER and Neela (Parminder Nagra) seems to be under the spell of Dr. Brenner (David Lyons). Gates (John Stamos) treats a bizarre mushroom hunter that comes in on his wedding day with breathing problems. Banfield (Angela Bassett) refuses to give up on having a baby but is having trouble convincing her husband (guest star Courtney B. Vance) of her plan. Neela gives a little girl great news about her mother's heart transplant surgery but is disappointed when a critical mistake is made. Meanwhile, Dr. Carter (guest star Noah Wyle) makes a surprise return to the ER. Linda Cardellini and Scott Grimes also star.
