"The Simple Secret of the Note in Us All" � Joey Conway, a big-name newspaper columnist, turns up dead in 1973 and Detective Sam Tyler is certain he knows the killer. It just happens to be someone he remembers from another murder case 35 years in the future. Spurred on by powerful flashbacks from 2008, Sam's behavior seems increasingly erratic to Lieutenant Hunt, Ray, Annie and Chris, who have another suspect in mind. When Sam goes totally out on a limb and faces surprising consequences at the 1-2-5, it looks like the once-and-future killer may get away with the crime, on "Life on Mars," WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25 (10:06-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC Television Network.
"Life on Mars" stars Jason O'Mara as Detective Sam Tyler, Harvey Keitel as Lieutenant Gene Hunt, Michael Imperioli as Detective Ray Carling, Gretchen Mol as Annie Norris and Jonathan Murphy as Detective Chris Skelton.

"Life on Mars" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.
