U.S. MARINES ARRIVE IN JERICHO, RAISING THE TOWN'S HOPES THAT LIFE WILL SHORTLY RETURN TO NORMAL � With the arrival of the Marines, the citizens of Jericho consider what their lives will be like when law and order is restored and the nation begins to recover from the bombings. But it all unravels when Jake (Skeet Ulrich), with Johnston's (Gerald McRaney) help, exposes the "Marines" as con artists who move from town to town taking supplies by playing on people's faith in the future. Jake must decide if he should tell the truth to the town and extinguish their new-found hope. James Whitmore directed the episode written by Matthew Federman & Stephen Scaia (#015).
