NEW YORK, September 29, 2009 -- Nick Swardson's comedic chops will be exemplified on stage with his first-ever one-hour stand-up special "Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted?" The World Television Premiere of "Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted?" is an original COMEDY CENTRAL one-hour stand-up special and debuts Sunday, October 11 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

In this brand new special, Swardson lets loose on stage as he explains how he wants to screw with movie trailers and the time he lost all of his money in Vegas... to a spider monkey. In addition, he hits on topics such as figure skating, ninjas, confusing suicide attempts and, of course, cocky drunk girls, wasted party texts and alcohol poisoning. Preview clips are available on COMEDY CENTRAL's jokes.com.

On Tuesday, October 13, "Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted?" stand-up special will be released nationwide on DVD by COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment, on CD by COMEDY CENTRAL Records and download-to-own including iTunes (pre-order Wednesday, September 30) and Amazon Video On Demand. In addition, the special will be available in standard and high definition versions on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, Zune and Playstation Store.

"Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted?" DVD, released extended and uncensored by COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment, features the following bonus materials: "28 Drinks Later," a trailer spoof of "28 Days Later," "Nick Swardson: Timeless Comedian," a retrospective of Nick's career throughout the decades, "A Very Terry Christmas," "Reno 911!'s" favorite roller-skating male prostitute sings the Christmas classics and "Opening Act: Beardo & Dirt Nasty" a musical performance.

"Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted?" CD, released by COMEDY CENTRAL Records, was recorded in April, 2009 in front of a packed house of rabid fans in Austin, TX. It features an extended version of the special as well as the track "A Very Terry Christmas," an ad for a fake and disturbing album from "RENO 911!'s" favorite roller skating male prostitute.

Swardson is the latest comedian to emerge as a triple threat: comedian, actor and writer/producer. He began his career in St. Paul/Minneapolis, then New York but it was the move to Los Angeles, when he first struck feature success in writing "Malibu's Most Wanted" starring Jamie Kennedy for Warner Brother Studios.

Swardson then caught the attention of Happy Madison Productions. He quickly became a fixture at the company by writing or co-writing and producing such projects as "Grandma's Boy," "Benchwarmers" and co-producing "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" with Adam Sandler and Kevin James. His first CD and DVD release, "Party," on COMEDY CENTRAL Records (produced by Happy Madison) sold tremendously and the DVD has recently hit platinum status. This year, he completed his first starring role in the Columbia Pictures feature, "Born to Be a Star" which he co-wrote and produced with Adam Sandler and Allen Covert.

Swardson's other film credits include "Art School Confidential" directed by Terry Zwigoff, "Blades of Glory" with Will Ferrell and "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" with Adam Sandler. In television, he had a recurring role as Terry in COMEDY CENTRAL's "Reno 911.

"The "Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted?" stand-up special is sponsored by 5 Hour Energy.
