TED HITS IT OFF WITH A VISITING GERMAN EXECUTIVE WHO
CAN'T SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH, ON ABC'S "BETTER OFF TED"
"Lust in Translation" � Ted romances a beautiful German executive (guest star Stefanie von Pfetten) who can't speak a word of English. It doesn't matter � Veridian is developing a translation device for her company, enabling the two to communicate. The problem is, the voice of the device is Phil's, which ruins the mood for Ted, on "Better Off Ted," TUESDAY, JANUARY 19 (9:30-10:00 p.m., ET)* on the ABC Television Network.

"Better Off Ted" stars Jay Harrington as Ted, Portia de Rossi as Veronica, Andrea Anders as Linda, Jonathan Slavin as Phil, Malcolm Barrett as Lem and Isabella Acres as Rose.
Guest starring are Stefanie von Pfetten as Greta, Rizwan Manji as Rick, Stefan Marks as Brett and Hans Tester as Hans.
"Lust in Translation" was written by Michael Shipley and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.
"Better Off Ted" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary Closed Captioning. This program carries a TV-PG,D,S parental guideline.
