A fight between Phil and Tara forces the newlyweds to take Phil IN as a roommate - Jessie (Stacey Farber) takes her father's side after Tara (Angela Asher) and Phil (Al Goulem) get into a huge fight. When Tara kicks Phil out of the house, Jessie and Tom (Michael Seater) are forced to take him in. Tom is horrified to have his father-in-law as a roommate and turns to his friend Carter (Jesse Rath) for help, but they discover that Phil is actually fun. Even Ben (Peter Keleghan) and Judith (Ellen David) succumb to his charms. Jessie is fed up after her best friend Ava (Erin Agostino) develops a crush on Phil and takes radical measures to get her parents back under the same roof.
