Burbank, CA (September 22, 2010) - As city council woman, Mel is asked to participate in a local �Dancing with the Stars' fundraiser - forcing her to step out of her comfort zone. Joe steps in to help train Mel for the competition, but when personalities clash, Mel wastes no time in finding a new partner in professional dancer Mark Ballas from "Dancing with the Stars." On the day of the competition, however, Mel's new found dancing confidence leads to her downfall - leaving Joe and Mark to clean up her mess -- on "Dancing with the Stars of Toledo," an all new episode of "Melissa & Joey" premiering on ABC Family Tuesday, September 28 at 8:00PM ET/PT.

Melissa Joan Hart was a celebrity contestant on Season 9 of "Dancing with the Stars" and was partnered with Mark Ballas on the show. Joey Lawrence is also a former alum, from Season 3.

"Melissa & Joey" is a half-hour multi-cam comedy executive-produced by Bob Young & David Kendall, Paula Hart, Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence. "Dancing with the Stars of Toledo" was written by Matt Boren and directed by Ted Wass. Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler and Nick Robinson star. Lucy DeVito, Finola Hughes ("General Hospital") and Mark Ballas ("Dancing with the Stars") guest star.
