FRANKIE AND MIKE DECIDE IT'S TIME TO REGAIN CONTROL OVER THEIR LIVES AND THE HECK HOUSEHOLD AFTER YEARS OF BEING AT THEIR KIDS' BECK-AND-CALL, ON ABC'S "THE MIDDLE"

"Taking Back the House" - After years of being at their kids' beck-and-call and never having time for themselves, Frankie and Mike decide to take charge of their lives and regain control over the Heck household. But Axl, Sue and Brick don't plan on going down without a fight, on "The Middle," WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 5 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"The Middle" stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue, Atticus Shaffer as Brick and Chris Kattan as Bob.

Guest starring are Brian Doyle-Murray as Mr. Ehlert, Jen Ray as Nancy Donahue, Julie Brown as Paula Norwood, Pat Finn as Bill Norwood, Sean O'Bryan as Ron Donahue, Blaine Saunders as Carly and Kamala Jones as new mom.

"Taking Back the House" was written by DeAnn Heline & Eileen Heisler and directed by Barnet Kellman.

"The Middle" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG,D parental guideline.
