ROMAN BECOMES ALICE'S ASSISTANT, ON ABC'S "MR. SUNSHINE"

"The Assistant" - When Alice asks Ben for an assistant, he gives her Roman, on ABC's "Mr. Sunshine," WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET). Roman may not be what Alice had in mind, but she finds a connection with him that surpasses her expectations. Meanwhile, Crystal wants to honor a passing friend with a funeral at The Sunshine Center, and Alonzo comes clean about a past relationship.

"Mr. Sunshine" stars Matthew Perry as Ben, Allison Janney as Crystal, Andrea Anders as Alice, James Lesure as Alonzo and Nate Torrence as Roman.

Guest stars include Portia Doubleday as Heather, Richard Kind as Rod and Nadege August as Tanya.

"The Assistant" was written by David Windsor and Casey Johnson and directed by Elliot Hegarty

"Mr. Sunshine" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG,L parental guideline.
