TO 651 POUNDS, BECOMES THE MOST OBESE PERSON TRAINER CHRIS POWELL HAS
EVER WORKED WITH, ON ABC'S "EXTREME MAKEOVER: WEIGHT LOSS EDITION"
For Motivation, Chris Powell Brings in Dallas Cowboys Stars Michael Irvin and Nate Newton
"James" -- Weighing in at 651 pounds, James, a 25-year-old former football player from Fort Worth, Texas, becomes the most obese person trainer and transformation specialist Chris Powell has ever worked with. James must lose 150 pounds to stay on track in the first of his four, three-month phases of weight loss.
Chris hopes to motivate James to safely shed the pounds by bringing in help from former Dallas Cowboys star Nate Newton -- who lost 175 pounds after once weighing 401 pounds -- and one of James' childhood heroes, Dallas Cowboys Hall-of-Famer Michael Irvin. After James incurred a knee injury in high school, his hopes of playing professional football were dashed. He turned his focus to computer work and spent long hours behind his computer, consuming unhealthy food.
