"Dave of the Dead" - A horror movie gets the gang to thinking about the coming "zombie apocalypse." Dave fears he's a little zombie-like in his complacency at his boring job, and shocks everyone when he announces he's quitting to follow his dream and open a restaurant. Max and super-competitive Jane square off on some silly challenges to see who could survive if the zombies took over. Meanwhile, Penny dates a hipster named Toby (guest star John Bobek) and finds it exhausting to keep up with his too cool friends, on "Happy Endings," WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. "Happy Endings" stars Eliza Coupe as Jane, Elisha Cuthbert as Alex, Zachary Knighton as Dave, Adam Pally as Max, Damon Wayans, Jr. as Brad and Casey Wilson as Penny.
"Dave of the Dead" guest stars Sergio Cilli as Atticus, Wayne Lopez as the foreman, Cheryl Texiera as the hipster girl, Dave Bushnell as Hooper, Devin Sidell as Ione, Alex Morris as the restaurant investor, John Bobek as Toby and Olivia May as the zombie co-worker.
"Dave of the Dead" was written by Leila Strachan and directed by Randall Einhorn.
"Happy Endings" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
