WHAT GOES UP MUST COME DOWN, AS CONTESTANTS RACE ACROSS THE WORLD'S
LARGEST OBSTACLE COURSE AND BECOME HUMAN PINBALLS WHEN THEY'RE HIT
WITH LIFE-SIZE FLIPPERS, ON THIS WEEK'S EPISODE OF ABC'S "WIPEOUT"
"At Full Tilt" -- "'Wipeout' the best thing to happen to gravity since Isaac Newton," says host John Henson. Human Pinball is in full effect on the "Wipeout" course, as contestants are hit with life-size flippers on the Qualifier. The Mood Swing is tipsy, as usual, and the Wipeout Kitchen is serving up some Mexican food as a finale fiesta on the Qualifier. Contestants are pared down to six on the Scareousel, leaving only three to move on from the Super Tramp to vie for $50,000 in the Wipeout Zone. Hosted by John Anderson (ESPN's "SportsCenter"), John Henson (E! Entertainment's "Talk Soup") and co-hosted by Jill Wagner, "Wipeout" airs THURSDAY, JUNE 30 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Each week, 24 new exciting contestants of all ages, shapes and sizes go head to head through four rounds of demanding but hilarious obstacle courses to win the title of "Wipeout Champion" and the $50,000 grand prize. In the end, only one contestant will win, while everyone else will Wipeout!
"Wipeout" executive producers are Matt Kunitz ("101 Ways to Leave A Game Show" "Fear Factor") and Scott Larsen. Shye Sutherland, Kevin Wehrenberg, Trice Barto and J.
