**EPISODE CHANGE**
BEING FAST WILL PAY OUT CASH WHEN CONTESTANTS ENCOUNTER
THE WIPEOUT VIDEO GAME SPINNER, JIGGILATOR AND
THE DOUBLE BARREL SURFING SAFARI, ON ABC'S "WIPEOUT"
"Does This Avatar Make Me Look Fat?" -"My avatar is so real you can feel it... until it hurts," says host John Henson. Twenty four contestants will want to make their way through the qualifier with an extra pep in their step, since the player with the fastest time will be awarded an added bonus $25,000 cash prize from Activision. Players will first meet the Wipeout Video Game Spinner before taking tumbles off the classic Big Balls. Contestants then get jiggled on the Jiggilator, where we've added an overzealous helping hand to assist them with their balance... or lack thereof. From there, it's surf's up - or rather down -- as competitors try to catch a wave on the Double Barrel Surfing Safari, making for headlong Wipeouts. Hosted by John Anderson (ESPN's "SportsCenter"), John Henson
(E! Entertainment's "Talk Soup") and co-hosted by Jill Wagner, "Wipeout" airs TUESDAY,
SEPTEMBER 13 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Note: This episode replaces "Blind Date 2.0: This Could Get Ugly," which will now air as the Season Finale on September 15 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET).
Each week, 24 new exciting contestants of all ages, shapes and sizes go head to head through four rounds of demanding but hilarious obstacle courses to win the title of "Wipeout Champion" and the $50,000 grand prize. In the end, only one contestant will win, while everyone else will Wipeout!
