"THE AMERICAN GIVING AWARDS"

12/10/2011 (08:00PM - 10:00PM) (Saturday) : "American Giving Awards Presented by Chase" is a two hour primetime special highlighting a number of the most deserving charities in the United States. At the show's conclusion, $2 million will be distributed among these charities, with 1 charity receiving a $1 million grand prize (determined by online voting prior to the show). Hosted by Bob Costas, each charity will be presented by top stars from motion pictures, television, music and sports, who will introduce five remarkable organizations from the fields of Education, Human Rights, Health & Wellness, Community Leaders and Youth Organizations. Along the way, there will be special musical performances and several surprises for the charities being honored. The show will be telecast from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.
