ROMANTIC GESTURE, ON ABC'S "THE MIDDLE"
"Valentine's Day III" - Frankie and Mike decide to try a fresh approach to Valentine's Day by having dinner out with friends. But a clueless Mike angers Frankie by refusing to present her with a simple romantic gesture. Meanwhile, Axl can't think of a life-changing moment that's occurred in his life when he's assigned to write a school paper on the subject, Brick is tasked with writing a report on love, and a hapless Sue doesn't understand why her new boyfriend has suddenly turned into a bad kisser, on "The Middle," WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 8 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"The Middle" stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.
Guest starring are Jen Ray as Nancy Donahue, Beau Wirick as Sean Donahue, Julie Brown as Paula Norwood, Pat Finn as Bill Norwood, Sean O'Bryan as Ron Donahue, John Gammon as Darrin, Moises Arias as Matt, Blaine Saunders as Carly, Chris Erric Maddox as waiter and Sara Van Horn as woman.
"Valentine's Day III" was written by Jana Hunter & Mitch Hunter and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.
"The Middle" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to the airdate.
