When People See a Situation that Cries Out for Action, Do They Step in, Back Away or Just Walk on by?

Using hidden cameras, "What Would You Do?" establishes everyday scenarios and then captures people's reactions. Whether people are compelled to act or mind their own business, John Qui�ones reports on their split-second and often surprising decision-making process. "Primetime: What Would You Do?" airs FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.

Friday, February 10 Scenarios Include:

Baby Monitor Mother: A new mother sits in a bakery looking annoyed. Beside her is a fairly odd accessory - a baby monitor - monitoring a baby from her upstairs apartment. The mom asks other customers to listen because she needs a break from the baby and heads out down the street. Will the customers watch the baby, go after the mother, or call the police? What if the mother seems to be in despair instead of just needing some "time off" - will anyone try to help the mom?

Vegetarian/Vegan Discrimination: In a restaurant, a mother orders a vegan meal for her child. A couple sitting at the next table tries to convince the mother and child that they need meat/protein. At one point when the mother steps away, the couple tries to get the child to eat bacon. Will anyone step in? Twist: A 12-year-old son begs his mother to eat meat, and she says no. When she steps away, he asks other patrons if he can try their food.

Cover it Up: A person with a very obvious port wine stain birthmark visits a busy make-up counter and asks for help selecting a new lipstick. The make-up artist instead insists on offering products to cover-up the port wine stain. Will other customers say anything?

"Pray Away the Gay": What would you do if you were at a restaurant and overheard a "therapist" telling a gay teenager that it is possible to change someone's sexuality simply by "praying it away"?

"Primetime: What Would You Do?" has won awards from the Chicago International Television Festival, and the Avon Foundation's 2006 Voice of Change award for exposing "injustice and wrongdoing against women and bringing the message of domestic violence to the mainstream."
