"PRIMETIME: WHAT WOULD YOU DO?" TO AIR SECOND ANNUAL "HOW WOULD YOU DO IT?" VIEWER CONTEST SCENARIOS, FRIDAY, MAY 11 ON ABC

Every week, the popular ABC Newsmagazine "Primetime: What Would You Do?" sets up everyday scenarios and then captures people's reactions using hidden cameras. Now, the show turns the tables and asks its viewers "how would you do it?" Nearly 10,000 fans submitted scenario ideas, dilemmas and pet peeves. Five scenarios of ethical dilemmas will be featured on a special edition of "Primetime: What Would You Do?," FRIDAY, MAY 11 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. Some cases seem to cry out for action -- while others seem to present a choice. What would YOU do?

The show recognized three grand prize finalists and features two other viewers' scenarios. The three grand prize finalists were offered round trip airfare and accommodations in New York City for a behind-the-scenes experience to watch their scenarios being taped. "How Would You Do It?" Scenarios include:

Extreme Couponer: It happens frequently - a shopper at a grocery store using coupons at the cash register to get the best prices possible. But what if the shopper took excessive amounts of time sorting and handing the cashier her numerous coupons? How will the people in line behind the "extreme couponer" react? Submitted by: Grand Prize finalist Douglas Roberts from Johnston, Rhode Island.

Large Family Discrimination: When a waitress at a restaurant verbally harasses a mom for having eight kids (all eating with her), will any fellow diners come to the mom's defense? Submitted by: Grand Prize finalist Trena Shines from East Palo Alto, CA.

Something Borrowed: Like the movie/book "Something Borrowed," a woman is talking to her maid of honor and fianc� about their wedding details. When she goes to the bathroom, it becomes clear the maid of honor and fianc� are having an affair. Will any bystanders tell the bride? Submitted by: Patricia Robinson Chicago, IL.

Careless Pharmacist: What would YOU do if you saw a pharmacist loudly disclosing potentially embarrassing information regarding a prescription pick-up about someone waiting in line? Will anyone tell our loudmouth pharmacist to tone it down? Submitted by: Melissa Derryberry from Berkley Springs, West Virginia.

Special Delivery: When a worker at a mail center drops a box, breaking the contents, will he come clean and tell the woman who is there to pick up the package? Submitted by: Christina Hauck from Vancouver, WA.

"Primetime: What Would You Do?" has won awards from the Chicago International Television Festival, and the Avon Foundation's 2006 Voice of Change Award for exposing "injustice and wrongdoing against women and bringing the message of domestic violence to the mainstream."
