THINGS GO BANANAS FOR 24 COMPETITORS WHO FACE NEW OBSTACLES INCLUDING MONKEY BUSINESS, SCHOOL DAZE AND THE GOLD RUSH, ON ABC'S "WIPEOUT"
"Gorillas in our Midst" - "Wipeout" -- 24 contestants take on the all-new Monkey Business, which proves that you never know what big, dirty ape might be lurking in the bushes. Competitors then have to race through obstacles including the School Daze, the Gold Rush Petrified Forest and the always-dizzying Scaregrounds. Only three players will get the chance to compete for $50,000 in the Wipeout Zone. Contestants include Mr. Popular, The Goat Tease and a Circus Brat. Hosted by John Anderson (ESPN's "SportsCenter"), John Henson (E! Entertainment's "Talk Soup") and co-hosted by Vanessa Lachey (ABC's "True Beauty"), "Wipeout" airs THURSDAY, JULY 19 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Each week, 24 energetic new contestants of all ages, shapes and sizes go head to head through four rounds of demanding but hilarious obstacle courses to win the title of "Wipeout Champion" and the $50,000 grand prize. In the end, only one contestant will be victorious, while everyone else will Wipeout!
"Wipeout" executive producers are Matt Kunitz ("101 Ways to Leave a Game Show" "Fear Factor") and Scott Larsen. Shye Sutherland, Kevin Wehrenberg, Trice Barto and J.
