WITH HER BREAK-UP WITH PETE, ON ABC'S "HAPPY ENDINGS"
"The Storm Before the Calm" - Penny insists that she's fine after her breakup with Pete, but the gang begin to wonder when she writes a play entitled "Black Plague: A Love Story" and asks Derrick (guest star Stephen Guarino) and his theater group to stage it. They brace for "drama" in more ways than one. Meanwhile a marketing group asks Alex and Max to be tastemakers, but is it a scam?, on "Happy Endings," FRIDAY, APRIL 12 (8:30-9:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Happy Endings" stars Eliza Coupe as Jane, Elisha Cuthbert as Alex, Zachary Knighton as Dave, Adam Pally as Max, Damon Wayans, Jr. as Brad and Casey Wilson as Penny.
Guest starring are Stephen Guarino as Derrick, Dawar Owens as Anthony, Rafi Silver as Brandon and Brian Maillard as Greg.
"The Storm Before the Calm" was written by Prentice Penny and directed by Kyle Newacheck.
"Happy Endings" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
