"The Kids Are Not Alright" - Andy is ready to get away for a much-needed long weekend when she and Gail, working a routine highway spot check, discover a teenage boy bound and gagged in the trunk of a car. The two find themselves plunged into a messy tale of young love gone wrong and must try to save the boy from making a tragic mistake. Meanwhile, Swarek, Oliver and Chris are hot on the trail of a gunman who shot a 16-year-old who may have gang connections, on "Rookie Blue," THURSDAY, JULY 11 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
"Rookie Blue" stars Missy Peregrym as Andy McNally, Gregory Smith as Dov Epstein, Charlotte Sullivan as Gail Peck, Enuka Okuma as Traci Nash, Travis Milne as Chris Diaz, Peter Mooney as Nick Collins, Ben Bass as Sam Swarek, Priscilla Faia as Chloe Price and Rachael Ancheril as Marlo Cruz. Also starring in the series is Matt Gordon as Oliver Shaw and Lyric Bent as Frank Best.
Guest starring in "The Kids Are Not Alright" is Katy Grabstas as Alex, Michael Mando as Cesar Alvarez and Amy Lalonde as Monica Dunn.
"The Kids Are Not Alright" was written by Noelle Carbone and directed by Peter Wellington.
"Rookie Blue" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
