Stamford, Conn. - November 13, 2013 - Four-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos (8-1) host Alex Smith and the AFC West-leading Kansas City Chiefs (9-0), at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, in Denver, Colo., on NBC's Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.
Sunday night's matchup between two of the best teams in the NFL, led by quarterbacks who have a combined 36-6-1 record since the start of the 2012 season, will mark the first time in 44 years that clubs with records of 9-0 and 8-1 or better have faced each other. The game features a clash between Denver's offense, which leads the league in scoring, and Kansas City's defense which has allowed the fewest points through nine games this season.
Calling Chiefs-Broncos is seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his 28th season as the voice of the NFL's premier primetime package; 14-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, who has won the Emmy for Outstanding Event Analyst in each of his four seasons in the Sunday Night Football booth; and Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
NBC's coverage of Sunday Night Football is led by Emmy Award-winning coordinating producer Fred Gaudelli and Emmy Award-winning director Drew Esocoff. Sunday Night Football has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Sports Series for five consecutive years.
Football Night In America, the most-watched pre-game show in sports, is hosted by 25-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Sports Authority Field at Mile High, in Denver, Colo. Costas will be joined on-site by Michaels, Collinsworth and former NFL Executive of the Year, Scott Pioli, who from 2009-2012 served as GM of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC's famed Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Patrick will be joined by Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, two-time Super Bowl winner and Super Bowl XL MVP Hines Ward, and Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com. Carolyn Manno will report from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. on the 49ers-Saints game.
CHIEFS-BRONCOS PREVIEW
Cris Collinsworth on NBC Sports Radio
"The Denver Broncos are probably the best team at breaking man-to-man coverage with their picks, with their bunch formations, with their motions, with the brain of Peyton Manning and with Wes Welker and Julius Thomas. Those are guys that are tough to cover, so somebody is usually open. I haven't watched too many tapes where Peyton Manning doesn't find the guy who is open almost every time." - Collinsworth on the Broncos
"I really think if they're going to win the game, they're going to have to win it on their terms. That's with their pass rush, probably knocking Peyton downand they're capable of doing that. This is a team that can get pressure off the edge." - Collinsworth on the Chiefs
Dan Patrick, Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison preview Chiefs-Broncos here:

"Kansas City's defense has the formula to hold the Broncos down. The Chiefs have great rushers, an aggressive secondary, and can hold the Broncos." - Dungy on the Chiefs
"Alex Smith needs to continue to play like himself. He can't get outside of himself, or try to match Peyton Manning."- Harrison on Alex Smith

NFL Turning Point, hosted by Football Night In America's Dan Patrick, will look back at Week 10 in the NFL and focus on the crucial "turning point" moments that ultimately defined the outcome of some of the week's most watched contests.
This week's episode of NFL Turning Point breaks down the Lions-Bears game, and how QB Jay Cutler's injury impacted the game. NFL Turning Point analyzes Chicago's decision to play Cutler over backup QB Josh McCown. The show dissects the Bears' inability to convert in the red zone late in the game, following S Chris Conte's interception of Lions QB Matthew Stafford.
The program also reviews Sunday's Panthers-49ers game, and how Carolina's suffocating defense has spurred the club to five straight victories.
