Mel is less than thrilled when Joe's mom (guest star Faith Prince) drops by, but it's Joe who hits the roof when his estranged brother Tony (guest star Matthew Lawrence) turns up unannounced.

Meanwhile, Lennox insists on helping Ryder get into college even though he has plans of his own.
