OF ABC'S "LAST MAN STANDING" IN BACK-TO-BACK EPISODES IN
THE ONE-HOUR SEASON PREMIERE, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3
Tim Allen returns for a fourth season in "Last Man Standing" as "Mike Baxter," who continues to be surrounded by forces seeking to challenge his ideas on just about everything in which he strongly believes. The Season Premiere will feature two back-to-back episodes on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network.
"Last Man Standing" is a show about everything that families are dealing with today - all filtered through the blunt "man's man" comedy of an iconic American dad. Mike and his wife, Vanessa, live with their three daughters in Denver, Colorado. They find themselves tussling with the ongoing parenting dilemma: How much can they continue to influence their kids as they grow up and move on?
In the episode, "Here's the Kicker," Mike is ecstatic when Eve is picked to be her high school's first female kicker. But Vanessa feels high school football could be risky for their youngest daughter. Meanwhile, Eve wonders if her boyfriend, Justin, is more envious instead of enthusiastic about her achievement.
Guest starring are Robert Forster as Bud, Tye Sheridan as Justin, Sarah Gilma as Cammy, Phil Hayes as voice on PA, Mel Fair as announcer.
"Here's the Kicker" was written by Michael Shipley and directed by John Pasquin.
In "War Games," when Boyd gets sent home early from a birthday party for starting a game of "war," Ryan insists Mike stop exposing his son to action movies and video games. Meanwhile, Vanessa hopes budding fashion designer, Mandy, can help her look awesome when she meets with her still hot-looking college roommates.
"War Games" was written by Kevin Hench and directed by Victor Gonzalez.
"Last Man Standing" stars Tim Allen as Mike Baxter, Nancy Travis as Vanessa Baxter, Molly Ephraim as Mandy Baxter, Kaitlyn Dever as Eve Baxter, Amanda Fuller as Kristin Baxter, Jordan Masterson as Ryan Vogelson, Christoph Sanders as Kyle Anderson, Flynn Morrison as Boyd Baxter, Jonathan Adams as Chuck Larabee and Hector Elizondo as Ed Alzate.
"Last Man Standing" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
