NEW YORK, November 3, 2014 - Joe Rogan is back on Comedy Central in the uncensored world premiere of "Joe Rogan: Rocky Mountain High" on Friday, November 21 at Midnight ET/PT. For fans that can't wait for Rogan's new material, the special will be available on November 17 on CC: Stand-Up Direct.
In the all-new one-hour special, Rogan will let the viewers in on the real meaning of infinity, why he will lie to you on stage and why Kim Kardashian is the most popular woman in the world. Filmed at the renowned Denver Comedy Works in downtown Denver, "Rocky Mountain High" proves if you're not paranoid, you're not paying attention.
Leading up to the on-air premiere, Comedy Central Stand-Up will feature preview clips from the special. Fans can follow Rogan on Twitter at @joerogan, tweet using the hashtag #RockyMountainHigh to join the social chatter around the special, and check out Rogan's reddit AMA on November 20 at 3:00 PM ET.
"Joe Rogan: Rocky Mountain High" will be available on November 22 in the Comedy Central App to fans that sign in via their cable or satellite provider. The Comedy Central app is available for free for iOS on the App Store, for Android on the Google Play store, and for Xbox One.
The extended and uncensored version of "Joe Rogan: Rocky Mountain High" will be available for download on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, Vudu and Google Play on November 25. The digital album also will be available on that date. The special is now available for pre-order in SD and HD on Amazon and iTunes.
A stand-up comedian for more than 20 years, Rogan's inquisitive and intense comedic style regularly sells out theaters internationally. His third hour-long special, "Joe Rogan: Live From The Tabernacle," made its television debut on February 28 on Comedy Central. Rogan also starred in the hour specials "Talking Monkeys in Space" (2009) and "Joe Rogan Live," and released the CDs "Shiny Happy Jihad" (2007) and "I'm Gonna Be Dead Someday" (2000).
Rogan is host of "The Joe Rogan Experience," one of the most popular podcasts on iTunes. Since 2002, Rogan has provided color commentary for the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) on Pay Per View, Spike Television and now on FOX.
