In August of 2007, during the evening rush hour, an interstate bridge carrying hundreds of people in Minneapolis gave way. The collapse sent dozens of people into a frightening free fall. Among the survivors were a woman trapped underwater in her car and a bus full of kids who were stuck next to a burning bread truck.
