THE WIVES OF ACTOR JEREMY LONDON AND BILLIONAIRE DAVID SIEGEL
SWAP LIVES FOR ONE WEEK, ON ABC'S "CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP"
"Jeremy London" / "David & Jackie Siegel" - Actor Jeremy London ("Mallrats", "Party of Five") and Jackie Siegel, wife of timeshare billionaire David Siegel ("Queen of Versailles") are featured on "Celebrity Wife Swap," WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3 (10:00- 11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Jeremy London is best known for his roles in "Mallrats" and "Party of Five." Today, Jeremy lives on a ranch near Oklahoma City with his wife Juliet and their young son, Wyatt. Jeremy and Juliet do not have help and handle all of the day-to-day ranch needs themselves. The couple is also hands-on when it comes to parenting Wyatt. Jeremy and Juliet do not have a nanny and prefer to spend their evenings at home together.
David and Jackie Siegel live near Orlando, FL where they are currently constructing the self-proclaimed "largest home in America." The couple appeared in the award-winning documentary, "The Queen of Versailles," which chronicled the process of building their dream home and the ups and downs of David's business. David and Jackie have eight children: Jonquil (21); Victoria (17); David (16); Daniel (14); Debbie (13); Drew (12); Jordan (7); and Jacqueline (7). The Siegel's niece, Hannah (13), also lives with them. David and Jackie lead a glamorous lifestyle with a staff of approximately 30, including a cook, driver, house manager as well as a hair & make-up team for Jackie.
When it's time for the swap, Juliet arrives in Florida and finds the expansive Siegel mansion a tad tacky, complete with a light-up palm tree, the taxidermy of a dog as well as a golden throne chair in the living room. While back in Oklahoma, Jackie reveals she has never been in a farm house before and notes it's smaller than her guest house. Immediately, the women are taken out of their comfort zones. Juliet must dress like Jackie to escort David to his private plane for an overnight trip to Las Vegas, while back on the ranch, Jackie reveals she is "scared of babies" and not sure what to do with a baby as she never had to care for her own children alone.
When it's time for the rules change, both women are ready to mix things up with their new families. Juliet wants David to spend more quality time with the kids and organizes a family camping trip to remind David to celebrate family rather than focus on monetary possessions. Meanwhile, Jackie arranges for her team to come to Oklahoma to take over all of the day-to-day duties Jeremy and Juliet have been doing on their own.
"Celebrity Wife Swap" features two women of celebrity families trading households, lifestyles and children (but not bedrooms) for one week. During that time, the women - and swapped families - learn what it is like to live in someone else's shoes, but everything changes during the second half of the week when the women make their own rules and get the chance to run the household their way. At the end of the week, the couples reunite for a raw, honest and highly-charged exchange of views in which they make frank assessments of one another and discuss the experience.
"Celebrity Wife Swap" is produced by Zodiak LA. Bruce Toms, Tony Yates, Alex Cross, Michael Davies, Joel Karsberg and Cem Yeter are executive producers. It is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG,D,L parental guideline.
