LAUREN CAN'T STOP TALKING IN HER FIRST INTERVIEW AND GETS CAUGHT LYING ON HER RESUME IN HER SECOND ONE ON AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF ABC FAMILY'S REALITY SERIES "JOB OR NO JOB," AIRING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12 AT 9PM ET/PT
Burbank, CA (July 29, 2015) - Lauren is so nervous in her first interview that she can't stop talking. And in her second interview, she gets caught lying on resume in an all-new episode of ABC Family's new reality series "Job or No Job," airing Wednesday, August 12 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
"Job or No Job" follows one young adult per episode on his/her journey to land a first job in their chosen career. Each candidate will go on three interviews, and viewers will follow along to find out if s/he lands three, two, one - or zero offers. Jane Buckingham (Founder and CEO of Trendera and bestselling author of The Modern Girls Guide to Life) will be the Career & Lifestyle expert (a.k.a. The "Fairy Jobmother"), dispensing advice on how to learn from their mistakes, where to shop and eat, how to get around town, where to find housing, and the realities of entering the job market.
Lauren Afflerbaugh, a recent college grad and aspiring fashion designer, leaves her friends and family behind in Austin to fly out to Los Angeles to interview with three successful companies in her field. In her first interview with Alle Fister, Principal and Owner of Bollare Communications, Lauren is so nervous she finds herself babbling nonstop.
Later, she interviews with Brian Stark, President and CEO of Brand Equity Showroom. Right out of gate, she gets caught lying on her resume and then gets so rattled she can't seem to answer any of his rapid-fire questions.
Finally, she meets with Nilou Ghodsi, Owner of Heist. Nilou makes her throw a look together on the spot - only to critique her choices.
Throughout the episode, Jane advises Lauren on how to keep her nervousness under control and let her true self shine.
"Job or No Job" is produced by Studio Lambert/All3Media America. Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman, Greg Goldman and Sara Quick serve as executive producers.
