THREE NEW BACHELORS ARRIVE AND ONE BACHELORETTE THREATENS TO LEAVE PARADISE, ON ABC'S "BACHELOR IN PARADISE"
"Episode 202A" - The excitement and drama continues for the remaining contestants as "Bachelor in Paradise" picks up immediately following the first rose ceremony on SUNDAY, AUGUST 9 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network. After all the roses have been handed out, one Bachelorette has a tearful meltdown, claiming she's unhappy and wants to leave Paradise.
As the week begins, the unhappy Bachelorette reveals that she has a boyfriend back home and the cast questions her purpose in Paradise. Josh, the hunky bachelor that Lauren was waiting for, arrives with a date card in hand but asks Tenley out instead. The two have a romantic time in the charming beach town of Sayulita, but upon their return back to the house, a jealous JJ isn't thrilled to see the chemistry forming between them. Meanwhile, the cast is shocked when new bachelor Joe arrives and displays abrasive behavior that is off-putting to everyone. He takes Juelia on a date where they ride horses to Quimixto Waterfalls and get to know each other over a picnic, but the budding relationship is short-lived as he later reveals his true intentions behind coming to Paradise.
Back at the house, a date card arrives for Jared who has found himself in a love triangle between two prominent rivals - Ashley I. and Clare. His date of choice sets off a chain reaction of dramatic events that leads to more jealousy, fighting, and tears than Paradise has ever seen before!
"Episode 202B" -- On MONDAY, AUGUST 10 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the ABC Television Network, the morning after a dramatic night in Paradise, the cast is still reeling from Jared's controversial decision to ask Clare to be his date. Mikey and Ashley I. are left feeling deserted and heartbroken by the decision. Despite the drama, Jared and Clare head out on one of the most adventurous dates of the season, taking a sailboat to a small island where they go bungee jumping. Meanwhile at the house, Ashley I. is distraught that her love interest is out on the date, possibly falling in love with another woman. When the happy couple returns, Ashley I.'s fears are confirmed, leaving both ladies vying for the bachelor's heart.
One of the most exciting love triangles in Paradise becomes a "love square" when new bachelor, Michael G., arrives with a date card and a mission to win the heart of Tenley, who is already torn between two suitors. The couple heads off to the luxurious Vidanta Resort where they enjoy one of the most romantic dates in Bachelor history, dining atop a shimmering pool of water. The couple is shocked and awed when a mariachi band of over 100 musicians steps out onto the water, serenading them, and they dance the night away.
The night of the cocktail party, Jonathan and Mikey try to convince Juelia that Joe is playing her. Clare lectures the entire cast in one of the strangest Paradise tantrums to date. With so much drama and craziness surrounding the night, what will happen next? Who will be sent home brokenhearted?
