SEASON FINALE
IN A "CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP" FIRST, THE MEN TRADE PLACES WHEN ACTOR
ROBERT CARRADINE AND FORMER NFL STAR TERRELL "T.O." OWENS SWAP LIVES
ON THE SEASON FINALE EPISODE, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2
"Robert Carradine/Terrell 'T.O' Owens" - It's a "Celebrity Wife Swap" first when the men swap lives and travel around the world on the season finale of "Celebrity Wife Swap," WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 (10:00--11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Robert Carradine is an actor best know for his role on the classic movie franchise "Revenge of the Nerds." Today, he regularly visits a reclusive private island off of Tahiti with his wife of 25 years, Edie, and their daughter Marika. Robert and his family live "off the grid" with no cell phone, Wi-Fi, computers or television. They are self sufficient with Robert fishing and gathering the family's food daily, milking goats and collecting chicken eggs. The family enjoys low key, but devoted family time where they do a lot of home crafting and Robert whittles.
Terrell "T.O." Owens is a former NFL star who played professionally for 15 years. Terrell lives in Los Angeles, CA with his friend Melissa, her daughter Mikayva and ones of Terrell's children, 15 year old Terique. Physical fitness and sports play a huge role in Terrell's house with Terrell and Melissa working out together. When it comes to family time, Terrell tends to go off entirely on his own, ordering delivery food for only him and secluding himself in the house away from the rest of his family.
When it's time for the swap, Terrell arrives in Tahiti, but it's anything but paradise, when he finds himself on a paddle boat far from any sign of civilization. With no cell reception or modern day amenities, Terrell isn't sure what's in store for him. Back in Los Angeles, Robert is overwhelmed by the size of his new house. When the men meet their new wives for the first time, Terrell immediately learns he's responsible for providing the family's dinner while Richard feels out of place when Melissa cooks dinner for herself and the kids leaving Robert Terrell's standard take-out menus to order dinner and hang out by himself. As the week goes on, Robert gets a lesson in working out and spends time with some of Terrell's football friends while Terrell gets to work on the island chopping firewood and providing for his new family. When it's time for rules change, the men are ready to make some big changes to their new families.
"Celebrity Wife Swap" features two women of celebrity families trading households, lifestyles and children (but not bedrooms) for one week. During that time, the women - and swapped families - learn what it's like to live in someone else's shoes, but everything changes during the second half of the week when the women make their own rules and get the chance to run the household their way. At the end of the week, the couples reunite for a raw, honest and highly-charged exchange of views in which they make frank assessments of one another and discuss the experience.
"Celebrity Wife Swap" is produced by Zodiak LA. Bruce Toms, Tony Yates, Alex Cross, Michael Davies, Joel Karsberg and Cem Yeter are executive producers. It is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG,L parental guideline.
