'What Would You Do?' Airs Fridays on ABC
Using actors and hidden cameras, "What Would You Do?" creates situations to capture people's genuine reactions. In the show's landmark 10th season, anchor John Qui�ones continues to ask the tough questions and explore the decisions people make when presented with these thought-provoking scenarios. "What Would You Do?" airs FRIDAYS (9:01-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 5 scenarios include:
· Car Trouble (OAD 1/26/16): On a suburban street outside an ice-cream shop, a woman makes it clear she is having trouble changing her flat tire. Will a passerby stop to help her? What will responses be when she is wearing a traditional Muslim hijab?
· Diet Pills (OAD 1/26/16): Three teenage girls are out to lunch when two of them start to peer pressure the third into taking diet pills. As they try to convince their friend to take the pills, the pressured teen grows more skeptical. Will bystanders say anything?
· Sore Loser Dad (OAD 1/26/16): A coach takes his little league team out for ice cream after a hard-fought game. He offers to buy everyone ice cream, except his son, telling his son that his strike-out ended the game; therefore, he gets no ice cream. The son is visibly upset, telling his dad that he tried his best. The coach doesn't want to hear it, saying he wasn't good enough and needs to try harder to earn the ice cream. Will the other patrons say something?
· We're Having a Girl (OAD 1/26/16): While out to eat, a pregnant wife tells her husband the exciting news that they are having a girl. The only problem? They already have two girls and wants a boy. What will fellow diners do when they witness his very obvious displeasure?
· Online Predator 2 (OAD 1/26/16): At a café, a 16-year-old boy is waiting to finally meet up with a girl he met online - a girl he thinks is his age. But when she turns out to be an older woman in her 40's, he can't decide whether he should leave with her. Will fellow patrons say anything?
