"The Hooters" - Adam tries to be funny in class but ends up distracting his woodshop teacher, who nearly injures himself when his tie is cut off so Murray grounds him. Meanwhile, Geoff and Beverly try to become more cultured so Erica will remain close when she decides she wants to attend a Phillip Glass concert but, in the end, they learn something surprising about Erica's taste in music. 80s band Hooters makes a special appearance, on "The Goldbergs," WEDNESDAY, JAN. 17 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

"The Goldbergs" stars Wendi McLendon-Covey ("Bridesmaids") as Beverly Goldberg, Patton Oswalt ("Ratatouille") as adult Adam Goldberg, Sean Giambrone as Adam Goldberg, Troy Gentile ("Good Luck Chuck") as Barry Goldberg, Hayley Orrantia ("The X Factor") as Erica Goldberg, Sam Lerner as Geoff Schwartz, with George Segal ("Just Shoot Me") as Pops Solomon and Jeff Garlin ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") as Murray Goldberg.

Guest starring is Sean Marquette as Johnny Atkins, Stephen Toblowsky as Principal Ball, Alison Rich as Valley Erica, Stephanie Katherine Grant as Emmy Mirsky, Clancy Brown as Mr. Crosby, Karen Rozanski as Concert Goer #1, Tony Rodriguez as Concert Goer #2 and Andy Stokan as Usher.
