LOS ANGELES - July 1, 2021 - "Friday Night Vibes(TM)," a new 52-week movie destination that spotlights feel-good comedies, action-packed blockbusters and culturally significant storytelling inclusive of diverse voices, welcomes actor and comedian Cedric the Entertainer and "Club Quarantine's" legendary DJ D-Nice in-studio to accompany host Tiffany Haddish ("The Last O.G.," "Girls Trip") and co-host Deon Cole ("Black-ish," "Grown-ish") to kick-off the Fourth of July weekend broadcast of "Black Panther" and "National Security" on Friday, July 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

On this week's episode, Tiffany and Deon discuss great Black superheroes, from Blade, Black Panther to Catwoman and the cultural impact of "Black Panther," including the most fashionable moments from the "Black Panther" premiere. Additionally, Cedric the Entertainer chats about his show, "The Neighborhood," D-Nice talks about the success of "Club Quarantine" and his new single, "No Plans for Love," Tiffany, Deon, Cedric and D-Nice share their worst jobs before making it and pay homage to Bernie Mac and the Original Kings of Comedy.

With a mix of comedy, celebrity interviews and musical performances, Haddish, along with Cole, guide "Friday Night Vibes" viewers through this celebration of life, cultural diversity, special behind-the-scenes moments and authentic conversation. The program will be ground zero for those who love movies, black culture, music and hanging out at the beauty salon and barbershop.

Cedric Antonio Kyles, better known by his stage name Cedric the Entertainer, is an American actor and comedian who currently stars in "The Neighborhood" on CBS. One of the Original Kings of Comedy, he is best known for co-starring with Steve Harvey on The WB sitcom "The Steve Harvey Show," playing Eddie Walker in "Barbership" (2002) and for his roles in "Be Cool" (2005), "Larry Crowne" (2011) and TV Land's "The Soul Man" (2012-2016). He hosted the 12th season of the daytime version of the gameshow "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" in 2013-2014. He has also done voice work for "Ice Age," the "Madagascar" film series, "Charlotte's Web" and the "Planes" franchise. In 2019, he received a Hollywood walk of fame star.

Over the course of an unbelievable journey from the streets of Harlem to touring and recording with Boogie Down Productions to The White House, Derrick "D-Nice" Jones went from being a pillar of the culture's history to actually making history himself. The legendary DJ, rapper, beatboxer, producer, photographer, and philanthropist has moved millions on wax with timeless records, on stage at unforgettable gigs, and online with his revolutionary "Club Quarantine" Instagram Live series. The latter notably set a precedent and built a template for numerous Instagram Live series to follow during the Pandemic. His influence would be recognized industrywide. The NAACP Image Awards named him 2021 Entertainer Of The Year, the BET Awards made him an honorary recipient of the "Shine A Light" Award, while he took home the 2020 Webby Artist of the Year award in the category of "Special Achievement." Most importantly, "Club Quarantine" positively impacted the globe, raising million for First Responders, HBCU's, CDC, Apollo Theater, and more. Teaming up with Issa Rae's Raedio, he even co-curated the Official Playlist of the Biden + Harris inauguration. Shortly after, he performed at the official Super Bowl LV pre-show at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. His timeless blend of hip-hop, soul, and R&B soundtracked President Barack Obama's 2012 inaugural ball, Academy(R) Awards parties, the Essence Festival, and BET's "Love and Happiness" Concert at the White House in 2016.
