It's been a bumpy two months since Detective Sergeant Ariki Davis (Dominic Ona-Ariki, The Commons) used police work and his second sight to uncover who killed his best friend, Joe Turner, on One Lane Bridge. Now it's all change at Queenstown CIB as a big gun has been sent in to clean up the mess Stephen Tremaine (Joel Tobeck, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King) left behind... Shocked when the homicide case against Lois Tremaine (Alison Bruce, Golden Boy) is dropped due to conflict of interest, Ariki is reassigned to routine police work until he proves himself to his staunch new female boss, Senior Sergeant Pounamu Edwards.
