CROWN, THE (Netflix) - Ben Daniels has signed onto the show's third season as Antony Armstrong-Jones, "the photographer and royal husband," succeeding Matthew Goode. (Deadline.com)
GAME OF THRONES (HBO) - Amazon Studios has signed a first-look deal with the show's co-executive producer Vince Gerardis, who has an "extensive intellectual property library from top science fiction and fantasy authors such as Robert Silverberg, David Brin, Greg Bear and Jack Vance, Larry Niven, Kim Stanley Robinson and Robert Heinlein." GOOD TROUBLE (Freeform) - Molly McCook and Josh Pence are both set to recur on "The Fosters" spin-off as Rebecca, "a fellow law clerk with Callie, whose grandfather is a Republican U.S. Senator and comes from a political dynasty of sorts"; and Dennis, "the oldest tenant at The Coterie, with a mild case of arrested development, and an aspiring musician," respectively. KANSAS CITY (Hulu) - Andrew Caldwell, Jade Pettyjohn and Anthony Keyvan have all been cast in the potential comedy pilot. Caldwell will play Seth, "the top-selling hot tub, spa tub, and home sauna salesmen in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area. He is also an operative for the East Kansas City Intelligence Service." Pettyjohn's Clarissa then is "a high school sophomore, church-goer, and aspiring jazz singer, who feels close to all the members of her family regardless of which side of the wall they call home." And Keyvan is Jamaal, "a 16-year-old who recently moved to West Kansas City from Chicago, another country, literally. Clarissa befriends him and the two expand each other's worldview in ways neither thought possible." (Deadline.com)
NOW APOCALYPSE (Starz) - Desmond Chiam is the latest addition to the upcoming comedy as Jethro, "Carly's (Kelli Berglund) boyfriend. He is an actor who is full of himself and believes that his new agey tendencies make him more enlightened." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED SESAME WORKSHOP PROJECT (Apple, New!) - The company has closed a deal with Sesame Workshop to develop new live-action and animated series for the upcoming streaming service. No auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
