JENNIPHER ELIMINATED FROM UPN'S "AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL"

Jennipher, a bartender from Pocatello, Idaho, has been eliminated from the third cycle of UPN's dramality series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, reducing the pool of girls competing for the grand prize from 10 to 9.

Last nights episode focused on the girls' body movements and posing skills. The girls' first lesson in body movement was with trainer Savvas, who led them in a yoga class. During this lesson, Janice Dickinson made a surprise appearance and joined the class. She then began her own course to show the ladies how to pose for swimsuit photos. During one of the group shots, Janice removed Jennipher from the 3-shot with Ann and Cassie. Jen, you better wake up honey. Youre not looking too hot, Eva commented.

Back at the loft, Tyra visited with the girls to discuss their experience so far in the competition. In talking with Jennipher about her drive to win the competition, Tyra was concerned that she did not see "the fire that people need to feel from her photographs. Jennipher took Tyras comments to heart and began to realize if your personality doesnt come out, youre going out of here.

The next day, upon arriving at the La Perla lingerie store in New York City, the girls met Simon Dooman, the creative director for Barneys, who presented them with their challenge. They would be modeling lingerie in the storefront window, and the winner would receive $5000 worth of La Perla lingerie. In the end, Simon ultimately chose Kelle as the winner of the competition while commenting that Jennipher was too dull in the window.

The third task involving body movement was a photo shoot on roller skates with photographer Matthew Jordan Smith. While many of the girls were not comfortable on skates, Jennipher struggled with the various tasks required in this challenge and even remarked, You have to skate, you have to have your position right, your bags right, your face right. The photographer commented on the fact that Jennipher is a pretty girl, but that she gave nothing in her photographs.

During the next evening's elimination ceremony, the girls had to show-off what they had learned about movement and positioning by posing with male model Lanny War. The judges then reviewed their skills and critiqued their photos from the photo shoot the day before. When Janice Dickinson asked Jennipher why she wanted to be a model, she replied with a curt response, We went through this last week. Finally, Jennipher was eliminated from the competition.

This season, Tyra Banks once again leads the panel that will narrow the field of girls each week as they take them into a high-pressure, high-stakes series of competitions that will determine the series winner. The world's first supermodel Janice Dickinson, renowned photographer Nigel Barker and Nol Marin, an acclaimed fashion editor and stylist, also serve as judges. This week the judging panel welcomed photographer Matthew Jordan Smith.

The third installment of UPN's hit dramality series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL follows 14 young women as they attempt to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modeling. Banks, who created the show, also serves as executive producer along with Ken Mok ("Making the Band"). Anthony Dominici ("The Amazing Race") serves as co-executive producer.

The winner of UPN's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will have the opportunity to be managed by Ford Models. She will also receive a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant Cover Girl. Finally, the winner will appear in a fashion spread in Elle magazine.

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL airs Wednesday, (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. For more information about AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, log on to www.upn.com.
