TOM CAVANAUGH TO GUEST-STAR ON "JACK & BOBBY" AS GRACE MCCALLISTER'S BROTHER

"Ed" star Tom Cavanaugh will guest-star in two episodes of The WB's critically acclaimed drama, JACK & BOBBY. The announcement was made today by David Janollari, President, Entertainment, The WB.

Cavanaugh will play Daniel, Grace McCallister's (Christine Lahti) younger brother. Daniel is a highly intelligent, funny, warm and somewhat dysfunctional gay man with addiction problems. Grace, along with Jack (Matt Long) and Bobby (Logan Lerman) are all surprised when Daniel unexpectedly appears at their doorstep on Thanksgiving. The episodes will air during the November sweep on Wednesday, November 17 and Wednesday, December 1.

Cavanaugh is well-known to television audiences for his role on the comedy/drama "Ed," as Ed Stevens, a hot shot New York City lawyer who moves back to his hometown of Stuckeyville, where he buys the local bowling alley and sets up his new law practice. In addition, Cavanaugh recently guest-starred in several episodes of "Scrubs." His other television credits include "Providence," "Sports Night" and "The Outer Limits."

Created by Greg Berlanti & Vanessa Taylor and Steve Cohen & Brad Meltzer, JACK & BOBBY is executive produced by Berlanti, Mickey Liddell and Thomas Schlamme. Taylor and Andrew Ackerman ("Everwood") serve as co-executive producers.
