STARTING OVER ROLLS ACROSS AMERICA

Acclaimed Real-Life Daytime Drama Series Hits the Road

BURBANK, Calif. -� January 19, 2005 -� STARTING OVER, the original real-life daytime television drama, is going on the road to bring the show's positive messages to more than a dozen cities all over the U.S. STARTING OVER is produced by Bunim-Murray Productions, creators of "The Real World" and "The Simple Life" and distributed by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Beginning in February, the "Starting Over In America Tour" will include the show's Life Coaches, Rhonda Britten and Iyanla Vanzant, and Consulting Psychologist, Dr. Stan J. Katz, who will present a free and informative program that encourages audiences to make the kinds of positive changes that are portrayed each day on STARTING OVER. The tour will be supported by local affiliate promotions, radio partnerships, sweepstakes, and print media.

"This is going to be great exposure for STARTING OVER and for our partner stations it will be a wonderful promotional opportunity," said Mary Beth McAdaragh, Vice President, Marketing, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

The first stop of the national tour will be in Phoenix, AZ on February 19, 2005 and additional cities and venues will be announced shortly.

"'The Starting Over in America Tour' is a great opportunity for us to give something back to our fans while empowering people all over the country to use 'STARTING OVER' techniques to improve their own lives," said Britten. Continued Vanzant, "STARTING OVER is about reaching out and helping women, and this tour is a way to promote that on a local level."

STARTING OVER features a group of women living together in a Hollywood Hills home and striving to improve their lives. The daily one-hour, real-life drama follows a diverse and ever-changing group of women as they attempt to make extraordinary changes in their lives. Women reside in the STARTING OVER house for six to twelve weeks, depending on the scope of her "project" and her rate of progress toward her goal. Those women who achieve their goals graduate in triumph. Those who falter can be asked to leave the house.

The STARTING OVER on-camera personalities are:

Rhonda Britten - Founder of the Fearless Living Institute (FLI), Rhonda Britten returns for her second season as a Life Coach on STARTING OVER. A fan favorite in the show's first season, Rhonda is the author of Change Your Life in 30 Days, Fearless Loving and Fearless Living, which is a worldwide hit and has been translated into 12 languages. Britten can also be seen in the United Kingdom on her primetime television hit Help Me Rhonda.

Iyanla Vanzant - Iyanla Vanzant rose from a troubled and abusive childhood to become the best-selling author of over a dozen books such as Acts of Faith and In the Meantime. In addition to her role as a Life Coach, Vanzant is a celebrated columnist for Essence magazine and an inspirational teacher. Founder of the Inner Visions Spiritual Life Maintenance Center, Vanzant leads extremely popular personal growth and motivational workshops all over the U.S.

Stan J. Katz, Ph.D. - With more than 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Katz is a nationally recognized clinical and forensic psychologist with graduate degrees from Boston University and UCLA who has co-authored several self-help books about relationships and abuse. As the STARTING OVER Consulting Psychologist, Dr. Katz offers his clinical expertise on the issues facing the cast, while providing an occasional dose of the male point of view as situations warrant.

STARTING OVER is produced by Bunim-Murray Productions, the creators of the hit series "The Simple Life," "The Real World" and "Road Rules." It is distributed by NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. Jonathan Murray and Millee Taggart-Ratcliffe are Executive Producers. The second season of STARTING OVER premiered September 13, 2004.
