LORRAINE BRACCO GUEST STARS ON NBC'S
"LAW & ORDER: TRIAL BY JURY" FRIDAY, MARCH 11TH, 10PM ET/PT
NEW YORK March 8, 2005 Lorraine Bracco ("Sopranos") guest stars as Defense Attorney Karla Grizano on NBC's "Law & Order: Trial By Jury" episode "Vigilante," Friday, March 11th (10-11 p.m. ET/PT). Photos available at www.NBCUMV.com
"Law & Order: Trial By Jury" takes viewers through the legal process from arraignment to trial, told not only from the point-of-view of the prosecutors and police - but also from the perspective of defendants, defense attorneys, judges and jurors. From this omniscient perspective, viewers will be privy to ex-parte communications, intimate conversations between defendants and their attorneys, and a behind-the-scenes look at witness preparation and jury selection.
Said Bracco of her multifaceted character, "I like that she has a moral line that's crooked. I think it's important. I think that's what gives her so much flavor and that's what made her fun for me to play."
Assistant District Attorneys Kibre (Bebe Neuwirth) and Gaffney (Amy Carlson) face the unpopular job of prosecuting a father (as Colby, Aidan Gillen) accused of murdering a paroled child molester who had approached his daughter. The case takes on an added twist when they investigate why his self-appointed lawyer, Grizano, is so passionate about representing him. Fred Dalton Thompson and Kirk Acevedo also star.
"Law & Order: Trial By Jury" is a Wolf Films production in association with NBC Universal Television Studio. Dick Wolf is creator and executive producer; Walon Green and Peter Jankowski are executive producers.
