Ratings Climb for Second Outing of the New Comedy Series
AMERICAN IDOL season-two winner Ruben Studdard and AMERICAN IDOL season-one finalist Kimberly Caldwell guest-star as mall food court employees who compete with the workers at "Yippee, Hot Dogs," using songs to bait customers on the "Fish Song" episode of LIFE ON A STICK Wednesday, April 6 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
The time period premiere of LIFE ON A STICK posted a 4.3/11 among Adults 18-49, outperforming its Thursday premiere last week by +8% among Adults 18-49 (4.3/11 vs. 4.0/10), +8% among Adults 18-34 (4.0/11 vs. 3.7/11), +9% among Teens (3.5/11 vs. 3.2/11) and +2% in Total Viewers (9.4 vs. 9.2 Mil). LIFE ON A STICK won its 9:30 PM half hour among Adults 18-34, Teens, Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 and ranked No. 2 in Adults 18-49. An asset to its time period, LIFE ON A STICK is outperforming FOX's prior season average with regular programming (excluding AMERICAN IDOL) by +10% among Adults 18-49 (4.3/11 vs. 3.9/10) and +7% in Total Viewers (9.4 vs. 8.8 Mil).
Studdard won AMERICAN IDOL in 2003 and followed with "Soulful," his double-platinum Grammy-nominated J Records debut, and the recently released "I Need An Angel." Caldwell is currently recording an album with legendary songwriter Diane Warren and AMERICAN IDOL judge Randy Jackson, one of the music industry's top producers. Caldwell also serves as an entertainment correspondent for the TV Guide Channel.
