"EAGLES FAREWELL I TOUR" TO AIR JUNE 1 ON NBC
On Wednesday, June 1 (8-10 p.m. ET), the Eagles will bring their concert to life on NBC with a 2-hour special taped in Melbourne, Australia. Throughout the special, viewers will be treated to a front row seat of the sold out Eagles tour as Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit perform songs from the band's six studio albums including hits "Peaceful Easy Feeling," "New Kid in Town," "Tequila Sunrise," "Hotel California" and "Desperado."
Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, the Eagles have scored four #1 singles and four Grammy Awards. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 has sold more than 28 million units and remains the best selling album of all time, while "Hotel California" and "Their Greatest Hits Volume 2" have sold 16 million and 12 million copies, respectively. Additionally, "Hell Freezes Over" is the best selling music video release of all time (8x Platinum).
