USA NETWORK IS CABLE'S NO. 1 AND NO. 2 FOR THE WEEK IN P18-49
THE 4400 and THE DEAD ZONE are top-ranked original scripted cable programs in cable
NEW YORK -- June 14, 2005 -- The USA Network hit originals THE 4400 and THE DEAD ZONE were cable's top two original scripted programs of the week in the key demo P18-49.
THE 4400 was the #1 original scripted program on basic cable this week among P25-54 in addition to P18-49 (retaining all of last week's audience in that demo during the 9p hour). The second episode of the critically acclaimed series brought in strong numbers with a 3.1 in households, a 2.4 in P18-49, a 2.4 in P25-54, with 4.4 million viewers tuning in.
THE DEAD ZONE returned with a bang on Sunday with the fourth season premiere of the hit original series delivering a 2.4 in households with 3.5 million viewers tuning in, outperforming last summer's season three premiere by +11% in households, +30% in P18-49 (1.8 rating), +20% in P25-54 (1.0 rating) and +31% in viewers tuning in.
THE 4400 airs on Sundays at 9:00 PM ET/PT and THE DEAD ZONE follows at 10:00pm ET/PT.
