CBS PROMOTES AND ADDS ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMMING EXECUTIVES

Nancy Daniels Promoted to Vice President, Alternative Series Development, CBS Entertainment

Joe LaBracio Promoted to Director, Alternative Series Development and Sandy Varo Joins CBS as Director, Alternative Series Development

CBS announced the promotions of Nancy Daniels to Vice President, Alternative Series Development and Joe LaBracio to Director, Alternative Series Development, and the addition of Sandy Varo as Director, Alternative Series Development, CBS Entertainment.

All three executives will develop new alternative programming while working on CBSs current stable of hit reality series including SURVIVOR, THE AMAZING RACE and BIG BROTHER and ROCK STAR: INXS, which premieres next week.

Daniels, who reports to CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler, had been Director, Alternative Series Development since she joined CBS in December 2003 after three seasons working with executive producers Arnold Shapiro and Allison Grodner on Big Brother.

Nancy has done a terrific job working with our producers to sustain the success of our core reality series this season while ushering in the programs premiering this summer, said Tassler. The Amazing Race just had its best season ever, Survivor continues to thrive and were excited about the rollouts of Big Brother 6 and Rock Star. We look forward to utilizing the talents of Nancy and her team as we seek our next generation of successful reality programs.

In addition to Big Brother, Daniels worked as a freelance reality series producer for nine years on shows for such cable networks as MTV, TLC, HGTV, Lifetime, The Food Network and WE.

Daniels is a graduate of Ithaca College (B.S., Television/Radio).

LaBracio, who reports to Daniels, had been Manager, Alternative Series Development, since December 2003. He joined CBS in February 2003 as an assistant in the department. Prior to that, he spent two years in Washington, D.C. as the assistant to Ted Koppel at ABC News Nightline.

After graduating from Dartmouth College in June 2000, LaBracio launched his television career with a year-long broadcast journalism fellowship at ABC News Nightline that led to his association with Ted Koppel.

Varo, who also reports to Daniels, joins CBS following 10 years as a freelance television producer working on newsmagazine, documentary and reality shows for CBS, FOX, MSNBC, MGM Television, Buena Vista Television, TLC, E! Entertainment, A&E and Home and Garden.

Most recently, Varo was a story producer on BIG BROTHER 5 and FOXs Hells Kitchen.

Varo is a graduate of San Diego State University (B.S., Television and Film Production).
