NEAL CARLSON IS THE THIRD PERFORMER ELIMINATED FROM THE COMPETITION ON "ROCK STAR: INXS"
Twelve Contestants Remain In the Competition To Become The Lead Singer of the Band INXS
After falling into the bottom three in viewer votes and after a collective decision by the band, INXS, Neal Carlson, from Queens, NY, was eliminated last night from the competition to become the new lead singer of INXS on "Rock Star: INXS"
During last night's broadcast, the administrative coordinator learned his fate from Tim Fariss, a member of the band, who told him that he just "wasn't right for their band, INXS." Neal, along with Jessica Robinson and Tara Slone, who made up the three performers with the fewest viewer votes, had to perform an INXS song in front of a studio audience in a fight to stay in the competition.
Neal performed "Suicide Blonde," the song chosen by INXS, but they felt his vocals were not strong enough for the band. Neal becomes the third person eliminated from the competition, following Dana Robbins and Wil Seabrook.
The 12 remaining performers will continue in the competition vying to become the new lead singer of INXS. ROCK STAR: INXS is broadcast on Mondays (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT), Tuesdays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) and Wednesdays (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT). Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke are the hosts.
