POPPY MONTGOMERY AND MARK MCGRATH TO HOST "FASHION ROCKS," AN ENTERTAINMENT SPECIAL CELEBRATING THE BEST IN FASHION AND MUSIC, TO BE BROADCAST SEPT. 9 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Actress Poppy Montgomery ("Without a Trace") and singer Mark McGrath will host FASHION ROCKS, an entertainment special celebrating the best in fashion and music presented by Cond Nast Media Group, to be broadcast Friday, Sept. 9 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Previously announced performers include David Bowie, Destiny's Child, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw, Nelly, Shakira, Gwen Stefani, Joss Stone, The Arcade Fire and Rob Thomas.

Mark McGrath is the lead singer of the rock group Sugar Ray. In 1997, the band's collaboration with reggae artist Super Cat resulted in the hit song "Fly." Later that year, and following the success of their number-one hit, Sugar Ray released its second album, Floored, which went double-platinum. Sugar Ray's success rocketed McGrath to pop-star status, as he graced the covers of Rolling Stone and Spin, and People magazine named him the "Sexiest Rocker" in 1998. The band later released 14:59, in reference to the famous Andy Warhol quote about everyone's 15 minutes of fame. Ironically, the album wound up outselling its predecessor, going triple-platinum with hit singles "Every Morning," "Someday" and "Falls Apart." Their success continued with the release of the self-titled album, Sugar Ray, which became the band's first-ever Top 10 album. In June, the band released its latest album, The Best of Sugar Ray. McGrath has made guest appearances on the television dramas "Las Vegas" and "North Shore." He is the co-host of the entertainment news magazine "Extra," has hosted VH1's "I Love the 80s" and "The Greatest: 100 Most Shocking Moments in Rock and Roll," and the primetime specials "The World Music Awards" and "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" on the Network. He also appeared with Sugar Ray in the 2002 feature film "Scooby-Doo."

Poppy Montgomery is best-known to television audiences for her role as Samantha Spade on the CBS hit drama "Without a Trace." She was first seen in a starring role in the feature film "Dead Man on Campus." Her other film credits include "The Other Sister," "Life," "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" and "Between." Among her television credits are the television movies "Murder in the Hamptons," the CBS mini-series "Blonde," in which she starred as Marilyn Monroe, and "Raising Waylon," also on the Network. She was a series regular in "Relativity" and "The Beat," opposite actor Mark Ruffalo.

The Cond Nast Media Group supports corporate sales and large-scale integrated marketing efforts for all 27 consumer magazine titles and websites across the Advance Magazine Group, which includes Cond Nast Publications, Fairchild Publications, Inc., The Golf Digest Companies, Parade, and Cond Net.
