More Talent Added to "2005 American Music Awards"

MORE TALENT ADDED TO �2005 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS�

Ashanti, Backstreet Boys, Brooks & Dunn, Carmen Electra, Paris Hilton, Shakira and 3 Doors Down Among Added Presenters

Eurythmics and The All-American Rejects Join List of Performers

Multi-million-selling duo Eurythmics and Oklahoma rockers The All-American Rejects have been added to the list of performers for the �2005 American Music Awards,� airing TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Eurythmics, who are back together for the first time in five years, will perform a medley that includes their classic hits �Missionary Man� and �Sweet Dreams,� as well as their new single, �I�ve Got A Life.� The All-American Rejects are scheduled to perform their current chart hit, �Dirty Little Secret.�

They join previously announced performers including the threesome of Bow Wow, Ciara & Omarion, Mariah Carey, Kenny Chesney, Sheryl Crow, Hilary Duff, Cyndi Lauper with special guest Sarah McLachlan, Lindsay Lohan, Tim McGraw, Pharrell with Gwen Stefani, Rascal Flatts, The Rolling Stones, Santana featuring Los Lonely Boys, Rob Thomas and Keith Urban. Hosting the 33rd annual special is Cedric �The Entertainer.�

Newly added presenters for the special are Ashanti, Backstreet Boys, Blink 182�s Travis Barker, James Blunt, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Brown, �Invasion�s� Eddie Cibrian, Jermaine Dupri, Carmen Electra, Ginuwine, Paris Hilton, Frankie J, Mary Mary, Dave Navarro, �Entourage�s� Jeremy Piven, Destiny�s Child�s Kelly Rowland, Shakira, Brian Wilson and Lee Ann Womack.

Also scheduled to appear on the show as presenters are cycling champion Lance Armstrong, Toni Braxton, Ryan Cabrera, Chingy, Australian songstress Delta Goodrem, Nick Lachey, John Mayer, Jesse McCartney, Sean Paul, Nicole Richie, LeAnn Rimes, �Phantom of the Opera�s� Emmy Rossum, �American Idol�s� Ryan Seacrest, �Jake in Progress�� John Stamos, Sugarland, �Night Stalker�s� Stuart Townsend & Gabrielle Union, and Gretchen Wilson. Additional talent will be announced at a later date.

The �American Music Awards� honor the past year�s elite in contemporary music as voted by record-buyers. Awards will be presented to top artists in Pop/Rock, Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Rap/Hip-Hop, Latin Music, Contemporary Inspirational, Adult Contemporary and Alternative Music.

The live special, which emanates from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, is a presentation of dick clark productions, inc., with Allen Shapiro serving as executive producer. Larry Klein produces the telecast and Jeff Margolis directs. Executive in charge is Fran La Maina.
