MUSIC SUPERSTAR TIM MCGRAW'S NEW NBC SPECIAL 'TIM MCGRAW: REFLECTED,' MOVES TO APRIL 7
HANK WILLIAMS JR. AND FAITH HILL MAKE SPECIAL APPEARANCES
BURBANK -- March 24, 2006 -- Grammy-winning music superstar Tim McGraw will now to NBC on Friday, April 7 (8-9 p.m. ET) for his third network special "Tim McGraw: Reflected," bringing his popular concert performance to an intimate club in New York City and adding special performances from his farm in Nashville, including a must-see memorable series of duets with wife Faith Hill.
In New York City, McGraw again proves why he's such an audience favorite with his steamy appearance at The Avalon before hundreds of fans that includes some favorite classics and new hits that have the audience on their feet. To juxtapose his big-city performance, the special also shows McGraw up-close and personal on his Nashville farm. There, he's joined by country music legend Hank Williams Jr. for a jam session, plus an orchestra for his rendition of "My Little Girl" -- the title track of his upcoming feature film "Flicka" - his long-time band the Dancehall Doctors, and wife and fellow superstar Faith Hill as the couple sing to each other in front of their fireplace.
For McGraw, 2006 continues to be a busy year. In addition to his upcoming network special, the Grammy Award-winning singer's highly anticipated album "Tim McGraw Reflected: Hits Vol. 2," will be released on March 28. He also has the year's fastest selling concert event with his spring-summer "Soul 2 Soul II" tour with wife Hill which begins on April 21 and will include 70-plus cities, plus his upcoming Fox film "Flicka" is currently scheduled to be in theaters later this year.
McGraw is one of country music's most popular and well-respected performers. His concert tours consistently rank at #1 and the "Soul 2 Soul II" Tour 2006, which is currently selling out across the nation, should be no different. His career has seen 26 #1 singles, 33 million albums sold, two high-rated previous NBC specials (2002 and 2004), and an abundant list of music awards, including three Grammys, 11 Academy of Country Music Awards and nine Country Music Association Awards.
Tim McGraw and Anthony Eaton are executive producers of this special from Tall Pony Productions. Sherman Halsey directed.
