"THE WAR AT HOME" IS FOUGHT ON TWO FRONTS SUNDAY, APRIL 16, ON FOX Two All-New Episodes to Air

Brenda Vaccaro and Jerry Adler Make Guest Appearances

Two all-new episodes of THE WAR AT HOME will air Sunday, April 16 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT & 9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In the 9:30 PM episode, "The West Palm Beach Story," Brenda Vaccaro and Jerry Adler ("The Sopranos") guest-star as Dave's parents.

In the first episode, "Snow Job" (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), when Dave and Vicky discover their neighbors have broken up, they start to question their own relationship, which is put to the test when Hillary sprains her ankle on a skiing trip that Vicky approved and lied to Dave about. At the hospital they learn that Hillary lied to both of them, but their argument turns into all-out war when Dave can't get past Vicky's deception. Meanwhile, Larry awaits a phone call from a girl, and Mike takes advantage of the situation to get an older woman.

In "The West Palm Beach Story" (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT), Dave takes the family on the cheapest vacation possible - a trip to visit his parents (Vaccaro and Adler) in Florida. The only one excited about going is Larry, who has begun a weight-loss program so he'll look good in his Speedo. Things go from bad to worse when their ride to the airport goes away, Hillary's new body piercing is discovered by security in front of a furious Vicky, and Dave is singled out for a security screening. When they finally get to the condo, Dave is unceasingly belittled by his dad and wants to fly home as soon as possible.

Brenda Vaccaro is an award-winning stage, motion picture and television actress. She was nominated for Academy Awards for "Midnight Cowboy" and "Once Is Not Enough," and won a Golden Globe Award for the latter film. Vaccaro has been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards for her work on "Sunshine," "The Streets of San Francisco," "St. Elsewhere" and "Golden Girls," and won an Emmy for her performance in "The Shape of Things." For her roles on Broadway, she received Tony Awards for "Everybody Loves Opal" and "Cactus Flower," and Tony Award nominations for "The Natural Look," "How Now Dow Jones" and "The Goodbye People."

Jerry Adler is a veteran of over 50 Broadway productions as producer, director and production stage manager. These include the original productions of "My Fair Lady," "Coco," "The Homecoming," Mike Nichols' "The Apple Tree" and the Tony Award-winning "Good Evening," which he directed with Dudley Moore and Peter Cook before beginning his new career as an actor. Adler then appeared in Woody Allen's "Manhattan Murder Mystery" and "The Public Eye." He was recently seen in the features "Find Me Guilty," "Prime" and "In Her Shoes." He is an original cast member of "The Sopranos" and is still seen as "Hesh," Tony Soprano's mentor/advisor. His many television credits include "The West Wing," "Law & Order," "Northern Exposure" and "Mad About You," on which he was a series regular.

From ACME Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television Production Inc., THE WAR AT HOME is executive-produced by Mindy Schultheis, Michael Hanel and Rob Lotterstein.
